Q: Why wasnt this part of the normal release schedule?
A: It's what we call a recruitment exercise, like some twisted shroom-fueled rite of passage. Whenever someone wanted to join the team we gave them Project Snow to test their skills. To increase efficiency, in between projects team members would chip away at Project Snow to avoid useless downtime. Eventually a lot of people contributed (to varying degrees) We even used it to test out prospective sound editors (none survived, except for one brave lady) After finishing Kunoichi 3, I realized that Project Snow was actually about 90% complete, so instead of scrapping it I thought that it would be better to just release what we have so that some stoner out there can fap to it.
Q: Why wont it have a movie release number?
A: For the aforementioned reasons, Project Snow is a VERY scattershot project, having been worked on by 10+ different people during its production cycle. In a normal movie, myself and the lead animator typically do 90% of the total work, therefore there is somewhat of a consistent vision (to use a stupid artfag term) is present. There is no vision for Project Snow. It's a bad acip trip through a forest of Orc dongers. It's a collage of different failed experiments therefore I do not consider it part of the normal catalog and will not have the FOW-017 release number.
Q: Will this affect other projects?
A: Project Snow was finished quite a while ago, so it will not affect the 2019 release schedule. Think of it as a nice little bonus project. A little curiosity, a depraved oddity - like seeing a three-titted monkey at a freakshow in Alabama.
Q: Why not just release it now then?
